Ciera Jackson and Makayla Hunter both captured individual titles and contributed 48 points for Chandler, which captured its fourth consecutive Division 1 crown with 189 points at the Arizona AIA Outdoor State Championships at Mesa Community College. Jackson won the shot put at 42-7 (12.97m), took second in the javelin at 125-9 (38.32m) and placed third in the discus with a throw of 138-5 (42.18m). Hunter won the javelin, elevating to No. 4 in state history at 138-7 (42.24m), placed second in the discus with a throw of 141-1 (43.00m) and finished third in the shot put at 39-0.25 (11.89m).
